PREPARE, PREVENT AND ACT

Active shooting and active threat events don't "just happen". There are many red flag behaviors and mitigation opportunities in the school environment that may allow us to stop them before they happen.  

We should also be prepared to act aggressively and intentionally if the worst comes our way. E.S.C.A.P.E. teaches recognition, prevention and mitigation; as well as sharing what actions to take that are most likely to save your life during such an event. Staff and students will be empowered through this training and you may just save lives!

Gain knowledge of the tools, programs and resources that will support your success as an SRO. 

Understand expectations, roles and responsibilities . We'll give you a step by step guide on how to begin your assignment as you learn the laws and rules of police operations in schools and why they are so important. 

We will address additional key topics like: Building positive working relationships, SRO roles and recommendations (COPS)

An assessment is KEY to identifying safety needs and building your plan to address them. It's an essential part of any comprehensive, multi-layered safety plan. 

 A professional assessment can help identify missing elements, areas to improve and make suggestions for solutions and corrections. Our highly trained and experienced assessor has 28 years of law enforcement experience. During his career his presence was felt at the local, district and state levels as he worked as an SRO, supervisor, liaison, policy maker, trainer and advocate.
